Microbursts topple poles in pair of neighborhoods

Tucson Citizen –
“Power poles, trees and debris littered the streets of Tucson after a thunderstorm Friday produced two microbursts, sudden, huge gusts of wind. The more dramatic power pole toppling occurred just north of downtown along North 11th Avenue, from Sixth Street to Speedway Boulevard,
Tucson Electric Power Co. spokesman Joe Salkowski said. …”

Hello,

I have the greatest friends anyone could have! On a night with storms, threats of more storms, lightening, and power outages we raised $500. Most importantly, we all had a good time. We had plenty of food and drink.

It never stormed at our TGIF Party! Not a drop.

Here is the reality check. I am in danger of not qualifying for City of Tucson Matching Funds. This would really be a shame. My opponent has raised $15,000 and with the matching funds she will have $30,000 to advertise her campaign. I have raised and spent $4,016. My campaign is debt free, but I have nothing to spend on Yard Signs, etc.

If I am going to run with the Big Dogs, I need you to send me a check now to:

Four months ago I stopped my business to become your candidate full time. I will continue to work 24/7 on this campaign until the election, Nov. 6th. I am making a significant sacrifice in personal income and I need your help to compete in this election. I am asking you to become my ambassador to your friends & family.

If our goal is to be successful and win this election it will take a lot of people doing what they can with support. Send something now before it is too late. I would rather be honest with you today, than making excuses in December. Dan
